State Police Report - June 2, 2011
A 20-year-old man was charged with driving under the influence (DUI) and other traffic violations after a one-vehicle crash at 4:34 p.m., May 3, in the 200 block of Rambo Hill Road in Carroll Twp.Timothy E. Carpenter was driving south when he allegedly lost control of his 1994 Honda, hitting an embankment. He was using a seat belt and was not injured. The front airbags deployed.
Shermans Dale fire and EMS assisted on the scene.

While turning onto Route 11/15 from Railroad Street in Penn Twp., Rick Weaver, 48, of Mechanicsburg drove his 1992 Jeep Cherokee into the path of a 2005 Toyota Camry driven by Sara Stoops of Duncannon at 3:43 p.m., May 21.
Both drivers were using seat belts and were not injured by the impact. Weaver was charged with a traffic violation.

Corey L. Bell of Liverpool reported the theft of six firearms and related equipment from his home in the 2600 block of Pollyanna Road in Liverpool Twp. between May 5 and 21.

Andrew Escriva, 44, of Camp Hill was driving north on Richwine Road in Carroll Twp. when his 2003 Ford Explorer left the road on a left turn at 2:38 p.m., May 14. It hit an embankment and rolled onto the passenger side.
The driver was using a seat belt and was not injured. He was charged with a traffic violation.
The vehicle was towed. Shermans Dale Fire Company assisted at the scene.

Mark A. Klinger was charged with DUI after an auto accident at 2:16 a.m., April 29, in the 500 block of Pine Grove Road, New Bloomfield.
Klinger’s 1995 Ford Bronco allegedly went off the road and snapped off a utility pole.

The vehicle of George S. Comp, 43, allegedly crossed the centerline in the 2200 block of Sunbury Path in Liverpool Twp. and hit a vehicle driven by Cory Benner of Liverpool at 10:29 p.m.
Police said charges will be filed through district court pending blood results.
