Mama Mia!   A funny, entertaining musical with the music of Abba.  Went to the opening night 7 pm showing in Oshkosh on July 18 and the theater was full.  Also attended Monday eve at the Point theater in Madison after playing tennis.  It is rare to find a movie worth attending a theater for.  mammamiamovie.com   this site is not recommended if you have dial up.  Beautiful scenery on a Greek Island.

Attended German Fest Friday night.  Enjoyed Alpen Echoes from Minnesota and Johnny Hoffmann & Die Herzbuben from Milwaukee.  The bands from Germany that I saw were more rock oriented.  The fest is changing.  Not all polkas and Volksmusik anymore.  Many attending with walkers or wheelchairs.  Bought 2 Edelweiss plants at the Fest and planted them next to my raspberries and flowering oaks.  The Edelweiss are mountain flowers and need partial shade and good drainage.

Have picked 2 Yellow Boy tomatoes, lots of lettuce and green beans, peas, a little spinach, radishes and a few small carrots from my garden.  Flowers include many tall snap dragons, 2 geraniums, 2 flowering oaks,  2 double impatients and now the 2 Edelweiss.
