HubOne scores deal with GYP to migrate Office 365 to SMEs

Cloud integrator and developer, HubOne, has inked a joint venture with Singapore-based Global Yellow Pages (GYP) to deliver and migrate Office 365 to thousands of SME customers in Singapore.

“This is great news for a little Aussie start-up,” HubOne CEO, Nick Beaugeard, said. “This announcement represents a massive opportunity for HubOne to work with a trusted partner of SMB in Asia, Global Yellow Pages.”

GYP, which focuses on up-to-date search, SME enablement and database marketing, will leverage the HubOne Engine, a proprietary technology that simplifies and automates the process of migrating customers from over 40 different existing platforms to Office 365, Beaugeard said.

As part of the venture, GYP and HubOne have incorporated a company in Singapore to be called Global HubOne to enable customers to migrate their existing platforms to Microsoft Office 365 efficiently using the newly launched HubOne Office 365 Engine.

GYP is also offering five free seats of Microsoft Windows Intune and Microsoft Office 365 to small businesses in Singapore for the first year.

Beaugeard, who also becomes the CEO of the new Global HubOne, said he is pleased to partner with GYP to bring the Microsoft Office 365 to a new market segment – the SMEs in Singapore.

Since the launch, HubOne has already secured over 7000 seats of Office 365 and Windows Intune “and additional orders are flooding in,” he said.

“I’m really passionate about offering enterprise class computing to SMBs and this gives us the springboard we need to make that dream a reality. This announcement is also the beginning of HubOne’s expansion into Asia with more to come,” he told ARN.

GYP executive chairman and acting chief executive officer, Stanley Tan, said HubOne is well placed to help customers transition to Office 365.
