I'm amused by Roy Exum's recent blast of some of the Hamilton County Board of Education elected officials. Roy, you conveniently left out three of them. I wonder why? There's plenty of 'dirt' on them. Maybe you forgot your old journalistic creed when you and your family ran the local paper? Or maybe you should have given a 'disclaimer' to begin your rant about who you were 'representing' when you slanted your article.

You forgot Linda Mosley...who is in cahoots with the Hamilton County Education Association, including trips out of town with their top people, where she promised raises once she got elected as chair of the board? She has sold her vote out more than once, oh, and by the way, didn't get the chair, now twice. She also said she didn't know Rick Smith and described him as a 'pig in a
poke'. How do you 'not' know the second in command of the school administration for six years? As deputy superintendent, Rick Smith went to school board meetings and
had an office and phone numbers.

You also forgot Jeffrey Wilson...who was one of the five 'good ole boys' power play on the "then" board that tore up Jim Scales' initial contract prematurely to give him more money and a chance to qualify for Tennessee Retirement on June 30 this year. Not to mention the Sunshine Laws broken, under the table agenda, and doing all this under the radar screen so that when the second contract showed up on the board's agenda back then, even Chairman Kenny Smith did not know it was there. And the chair sets the agenda. Now he's playing the race card and complaining about power plays, which is exactly what he did a few years ago.

You didn't mention George Ricks...who spends every dollar of everyone else's
money but doesn't visit his own district's schools. Maybe he should actually read through the numbers before just voting.

In the big picture, Jim Scales played this poker match to the end. He was
bringing his own attorney to school board meetings after the last lection cycle in November and December/2010. And he was told more than a few times by his attorney, "Don't answer that question." Roy, had you ever attended a school board meeting as I did, you might have seen these things that I'm describing. But you didn't and don't. Most people don't..they just write op-ed pieces to the media.

.  Your buyers agent services should'nt cost you anything, as the seller is paying the commission out of the sales price to get there property sold.  Just cause you may have a relative or friend who has a real estate license, dose'nt mean they are qualified to represent you in this arena.  Make sure you secure a foreclosure specialist for this duty with proven results.
