Offer, as you may recall, was arrested in Miami Beach, Florida on a charge of felony battery after an altercation with a 26-year-old prostitute.

Offer justified his actions to police by stating he hit the woman after she “bit his tongue and would not let go.” Not to defend Offer's actions, he may have slapped her but at least he didn't chop her (badda boom!). Perhaps Offer's notoriety explains why he's mainly missing from Slap Chop's ad campaign in Japan. Mainly, but not completely. And worse, Graty seems to have been tarred with the same brush. Say it ain't so, Graty!

I'd like to imagine Offer and Russell Brand are fixing dinner with a few Graty's in a cheap hotel somewhere, bemoaning their exclusion from Japan while drunkenly singing karaoke to Katy Perry's ditties. Finding the Best Karaoke Machine

I don't mind telling you that I am a huge fan of karaoke. I know some people will laugh at me for saying that, but it has come to a point where I am comfortable with my singing obsession. Some people regard karaoke as a ridiculous hobby or an activity only reserved for drunk frat boys. But karaoke has come a long way in recent times and I believe it is a legitimate way to spend my entertainment dollar. There are many other options when it comes to spending my leisure time, but nothing gives me the rush of singing on stage in front of a group of people. I live for the moments when I am the center of attention and everybody has their eyes glued to me. I might not have the best voice in the world but I always make sure to give a solid performance. And recently, I have purchased my own home karaoke machine so that I can practice for hours on end.

I had quite a bit of fun looking for the perfect karaoke machine, although I have to admit that it wasn't an easy experience. I entered into the market with a healthy budget and a lot of motivation to get the best machine possible. However, I was simply overwhelmed with the amount of choices there were available and it turned into an intimidating experience. Should I spend $1000 on a karaoke machine? What if I got a cheap model that cost under $100? Which system has the best features? These were the types of questions that ran through my head and made my choice a lot more difficult. Ultimately I decided to take a good honest look at my budget and personal singing needs to make the best purchase possible. I can say that I am happy with my decision, although it would be nice if I had the magic ability to create my own personal perfect karaoke machine.

If I had the technological knowledge to make a perfect karaoke machine, I would start off with solid sound performance. This is an obvious point but you might be surprised at how many karaoke machines fail in this basic department. I would also want a machine with various sound controls so that I can experiment with different settings that would complement my voice. Another feature that I would love to have is a video camera so that I can record my performances and watch them later. It would also be nice to be able to play songs off of the internet without having to constantly loading new karaoke CDs. And finally, I would like to be able to sing duets without actually having another person in the room with me.
