Revalation... Cheap way to carry a extra 8 rounds of .45
For two months now I've been thinking about how I'm going to carry a extra mag for my HK45c... going from 26 rounds of 9mm down to just 8 rounds of .45 acp can bring a little anxiety. I own a P2000 and about a year ago I brought a Desanti's pocket mag holder off of midway for about 15 bucks I think. Well the description said that this Desanti's pocket mag holder was only for HK uspc and P2000(sk) mags. The HK45c fits in the same holder. Now it stretches it out just a tad bit but it fits just as well as my P2000 mags... So if anyone owns a HK45c and P2000 and you are as cheap or broke as I am then here you go. You now have a way to carry another 8 rounds of .45 without a mag sliding around in a Cargo pocket, or waiting 20 weeks for a nice leather mag pouch... Or this can hold you over till you get the nice leather mag pouch you ordered 20 weeks ago. Yup I found the link... Mag pouch is only designed for the 9mm mags and .40 mags, but my hk45c mag fit in there. By the way to anyone that doesn't know anything about this material, it really does a good job at staying in your pocket in the position you put it in there... The material, I think, creates some kind of friction or something and that prevents it from moving in your pockets... Remora Holsters are made the same way and LimaLife and TnToutdoors on youtube both have reviews on that holster. Wow even the jet funnels? Yea I was pretty excited about that when I found it out... To be honest I don't really care how many rounds I carry, I was more so anxious that I couldn't carry a extra mag for clearing malfunctions and tac reloads. I practice clearing double feeds by locking the slide back dropping the mag, racking then inserting a new mag. Clint Smith trains to clear Semi-Auto pistol malfunctions with one mag, just hold the removed magazine in hand while clearing pistol then re-insert, I've found this to be harder with double stack mags... but Magpul teaches it with two.
